Over 1,000,000 tracks played through PandoraFM

On July 1st of this year I started a counter on how many songs are being played through the PandoraFM interface. I haven’t really been paying attention to it lately, in any aspect. I just let it run. I haven’t been changing, fixing.. doing anything to it. I’m actually quite proud of that, it’s running well for a ton of people and i’m not having to make daily fixes. I guess all that time I spent on version 3 paid off in the end.

Anyway, I checked out the “Social” tab today, and saw:

Over 1,052,000 other tracks have been submitted to Last.FM profiles through PandoraFM. * Thanks for being a part of it!

Wow! Big number! It’s smaller than a lot of other numbers in the world, but that’s my number! Thanks everyone!

New project: CabinTunez. The ultimate mp3 collection.

Been working with Bob the past few days on a new Cabin project. I started the framework a while back but never did much with it. Unfortunately, this is all private, so I can’t really share it. But I can give you a screenshot and make you wish you had access to CabinTunez, the ultimate mp3 collection.

Martin, co-founder of Last.FM invited me to stop by their office and visit next time I’m in London. How cool is that! Another data point in my Google Earth KMZ of life.

Server Status

So I got email really working. It wasn’t working before. In fact most emails were bouncing. So if you emailed me, and it bounced… please send again.

Got my web log back up, obviously. Tonight i’ll have to reinstall the photo album database. I just realized I have the old version installed that wasn’t database driven. Wonder if I can import it. Still a ton lost, but maybe it’s something?
