Email and stuff

Ok everyone, I put whitelist email filtering on my [email protected] address now. It should work, but I don’t trust it. But I don’t know what other alternatives I have. It’s time to break out the big guns. We’ve tested the technique on the-cabin.com for about a week now, and I wrote some scripts to automate somethings and it seems to be working out. However I make no promises.

If you email me and you get an email back saying to reply, do what it says. Otherwise I won’t get your email!

That out of the way, I work Kilties bingo tonight and got a HUGE Show against the Govies tomorrow. I’m pumped, and they are going down. Kelley thinks i’m setting myself up for disappointment, but I owe it to myself to take those guys down. So again you won’t see me starting tonight through sunday night. I’ll be back on IRC Monday, however.

My back is sooo itchy. It went from pain, to peel, to itch. I feel like i’m shedding.

Slow day…

I recorded some video on the way to getting some food with my archos. Kinda fun, i’ll upload it tonight for b0b.

Friday can’t come soon enough.. Kilties weekend! Big showdown between us and the Govenaires from MN. We all want to beat them so bad, cuz they beat the Kilts last year. But this year they have the Kilties Youth Movement on their side!

ok here’s an entry

I havn’t written since before the first show on Friday, was an exciting weekend. Had a blast doing my first two shows with the Kilties.

I’ll be doing my final performance with the Round Lake area Community Band tonight with Kelley, and then Friday i’m working bingo with her as well. Then shows Saturday and Sunday nights. I’ve missed the whirlwind life of a drum corps member :)

On another note, I cut my r33t points down by like half lol. Same with Bob. And i’m sitting around thinking of some new features to the site, but generaly things I think of would be way not used and a total waste of time.

I have a couple interviews today. Nope, i’m not interviewing for a job.. get this.. I’m interviewing people here at work for the open spot on my team. Crazy huh? I don’t know the first thing about being an interviewer, but i’ll try to find some rules somewhere and some questions I should ask.

SHOW DAY!

Huge day today. My first show since August of 1999. Leaving work early to try to get up to Racine on time. I want to leave at noon, but i’m sure my coworker will be out at lunch and I don’t want to leave with nobody else here. My choices are a 12:35 train or a 2:35 train.

I’m so excited. This show will be soooo dirty. We havn’t even done a full runthough thanks to the rain killing our field last week… but it’s the first show. We’re gonna do what we can.

Marianne is already on her way to Racine with the MI klan. Tara will be getting there a little late because of her job.

Man, it’s a show day.

2 days

Two days until my first show as a Racine Kiltie, and my first time performing with a drum corps since 1999. I’m pumped. We’ll be dirty, sure… but i’ll still be on the field. Even if we take dead last I’ll be one of the happiest people in the world this weekend. Who ever thought i’d be marching in a corps drumline? And even moreso, in a drumline with Marianne, plus my high school drumline instructor? It’s like the Gabe Kangas all stars. We’re getting drumline tshirts, they’ll be r33t :)

Sure there’s lots of drama and personal stuff that’s been added with being a member of the Kilties, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. Two shows this weekend, one the Americanos home show. r33t!

Once I get camera for archos i’ll have vidz up of all my phun.
